DEMO: Displaying and hiding test fields

Help
Supports CMS Forms Manual

This form is for DEMONSTRATION purposes only.

It is used to demonstrate how test fields - fields that are used to verify or validate information - can be made visible or non-visible based on a 'switch'. This allows the form to be easily changed between one appearance for development and testing, and another for release to the public.

For more information, see:

This section would normally be hidden from users. It could be used to hold any information about the form, including setting up variables used within it. For this demonstration, it is kept visible so you can see how the display changes when the form is switched between 'testing' and 'production' modes.
What's the current status of the form?
This control is called "status" and provides the values "test" and "prod".

What's happening:

A business is entitled to claim a reimbursement. The amount is different for businesses located in different parts of the province. This is a daily rate, but we won't be calculating the total in this demonstration. We'll simply create a statement of what that rate entitlement is.
  • The question asks the user to identify which zone they're in. This is a control named "zoneSelector".
  • Other controls marked with their name, such as "zoneNumber" provide a value based on the question.
  • Someone testing the form would want to see check that the values are correct for each zone option.
So these extra 'testing fields' only appear when the form is in "testing mode".
