Consent form - Mural migration project

Help
Research consent form for GDX mural migration project.

The GDX Service Design team is working on a project to assess the use of digital whiteboard tools across the division. To support this work, we are connecting with staff from across the division to understand how they use digital whiteboard tools.

Currently in GDX there is a need to reduce Mural licenses to align with procurement policy. There is also a need to move away from teams sharing a single license.License sharing can cause issues with load times and lag which results in some of Mural's collaboration features not working as intended (i.e. private mode).

The current cost of Mural is not an issue but the sharing of licenses has privacy implications. This has become an issue for multiple teams across GDX.

GDX has recently procured Figma, a digital prototyping tool, which includes an optional digital whiteboard function called FigJam, with a maximum of 50 licenses for the division. Moving some teams away from Mural into FigJam may be a strategy to reduce Mural licenses.

Workshop insights will help inform teams in selecting a digital whiteboard tool that meets their needs.
